+1 Upgrade Per Kill is free-for-all arena PvP "with crits, knockback and real armor". Every kill upgrades your gear by one step and every death sends you back to zero, so good PvP here is as much about surviving as killing. These tips are built from the official description, the in-game menus and gameplay footage.

How a fight works

  • Crits: hits can crit for extra damage. Footage shows the classic jump-attack timing, but the exact crit rule is to be verified.
  • Knockback: every hit pushes. Near edges, knockback is a weapon: players who fall into the void die, and it counts toward the killer (to be verified for who gets credit).
  • Real armor: your Upgrade level (shown as UPGRADE x/34 on the HUD) sets your armor and weapon, from Leather up to MAXED. See upgrades.
  • Hearts: you start with a set number of hearts. Heart Potions add one heart per 5 kills, up to 13.

10 tips to get more kills

  1. Fight near edges and push enemies off. A void kill skips their whole health bar.
  2. Hunt high-Upgrade players. The description says hunting them gives "bonus XP", and streaks carry bounties worth 20–520 Gold (see bounties).
  3. Steal assists. Assists pay +2 Gold in footage. Join fights that are already happening.
  4. Eat Golden Apples early, not when you're one hit from death. Warrior gets extra.
  5. Don't chase runners into groups. A long streak is worth more than one more kill.
  6. Use your class tool first. Cobwebs, TNT or fire before the sword trade. See the tier list.
  7. Back off at low hearts and reset the fight on your terms.
  8. Pick perks that heal on kill, like Second Wind ("Heal half a heart on kill").
  9. Roll enchants once you can afford them (60 Gold a roll in footage). See enchants.
  10. Carry a Gear Saver when you're high up, so one death doesn't wipe your armor. See Gear Saver.

When you die

The death screen shows "You died!", who slew you, and how many hearts they had left. Back in the lobby a REVENGE button appears next to "KILLED BY". Revenge products cost Robux: Revenge: Slow (25) slows your killer by 15% for up to 90 seconds, and Revenge: Fog (39) limits their vision to 8 blocks for up to 60 seconds. If the target is gone when payment completes, the purchase is saved as a credit for your next killer.

Gold and XP boosts

Server Boosts (1.1x to 4x, 7–99 Robux) raise Gold and XP for everyone for 15 minutes, and XP Bottles give +50% XP for an hour of playtime. They speed up perks and enchants, not kills. Prices are on shop.
